New Harley-Davidson® & Buell® Motorcycles Limited Warranty
Harley-Davidson warrants for any new motorcycle/sidecar that an authorized Harley-Davidson dealer will repair or replace without charge any parts found under normal use to be defective in factory materials or workmanship. Such repair and replacement will be Harley-Davidson’s sole obligation and the customer’s sole remedy under this warranty.
The duration of this limited warranty is twenty-four months from the date of the initial purchase and delivery from an authorized Harley-Davidson dealer. Any unexpired portion of this limited warranty will be transferred to subsequent owners, upon the resale of the motorcycle/sidecar during the warranty period.
The warranty will not apply when it has not been operated or maintained as specified in the Owner’s Manual, abused, misused or improperly stored. If the motorcycle has been used “off the highway,” or used for racing or competition of any kind. Installing components not manufactured to comply with the laws of the Market it is registered in may also void all or part of your new motorcycle warranty.

Used Harley-Davidson® & Buell® Motorcycle Warranty
Used vehicles may have a remaining factory warranty that can be transferable to a new owner. Please consider contacting us to see if this applies to you if your motorcycle purchase was from a private party and the bike is less than two years old. All Hal's Certified Used Bikes come with a 100% Powertrain warranty for 30 days.
Certified Used Harley-Davidson® & Buell® Motorcycles
All pre-owned Harley-Davidson & Buell motorcycles that are Hal's inspected, serviced, and certified come with a 30-Day 100% Powertrain warranty.
Extended Warranty Policies
Extended warranties are available to purchase through Hal’s and Harley-Davidson Inc., financial services. They can be added to the original warranty on a “New” bike for up to five additional years of coverage (seven in total, with the two year original equipment new bike warranty). Used bikes that are ten years old or newer and have less than 75,000 miles qualify for extended warranty coverage for up to five years.
