"3/3/2008 -I was in the market for a motorcycle. I was looking to obtain my endorsement and purchase a bike. While always having a passion for HD's I never thought I would own one. I went to mamy motorcycle dealers, and the service and quality I received from Hal's was fantastic. When I walked into Hals, I felt welcome and everyone was very kind - takes Customer Service to another level. My wife and son were also made to feel very welcome. Based on the treatment we received, I decided Hals was the place to buy from. A week later we were signing paperwork for the purchase of my Harley. I want to pay special tribute to Jack - who took alot of time explaining all kinds of items to us, and took the time to answer the never ending questions from my 6 year old son. I also want to pay tribute to Danny, he was great at answering our questions and finding the finance plan that worked to our budget. To sum it all up, these guys were awesome, and they were the reason we decided to buy from Hals. Great job everyone, and I can now see why becoming a Harley owner is more like joining a family rather than a purchase. Thanks again!"

"11/13/2007- Dear Mr. Topel,
On Thursday morning November 1st I tried to purchase a new Yamaha motorcycle from Don & Roy's Motor sports. Due to a discrepancy in the trade in value ($140) the owner arrogantly said he didn't think that he wanted to sell me a machine from his store, so I made his wish come true. This was my lucky day. I then proceeded to Hal's dreaming that an acceptable price might be agreed upon. Remember I said DREAMING!
I walked in the door and was immediately greeted by a young lady named Caralee who introduced me to a Gentleman named Tom Bradford.
To go on with all the details would take numerous pages. In summary these two people worked a miracle for me and today I am the proud new owner of "Milwaukee Iron" a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, a personal dream come true.
I can't tell you how impressed I am with your organization, the friendliness, the service, just the general desire of everyone from the lady at the front desk to Parts Department and the service area to want to help and make a customer happy.
I almost forgot John in F&I who was extremely helpful as well.
Keep up the great work, I know I will be bragging about Hal's Harley-Davidson for many years to come.

"8/6/2007- I’d like to thank Hal’s Harley-Davidson/Buell and in particular Bud Curtis for this year’s phenomenal Buell Homecoming!
All the effort and organization that Hal’s invested in owners having a great time was evident. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Stunt shows, the ride to Great Lakes Dragway and the races there, as well as the meal. The time Bud spent with us discussing Buells, and the wonderful route he recommended to Road America were both very appreciated.
This was my first attendance at this event and, although I’ve heard about how fabulous Homecoming is for several years now from my husband, I was truly awed at the experience.
My husband and I are looking forward to Homecoming 2008.

"6/13/2007- Recently, I had what I call "above and beyond" service from your excellent service staff. On my way to work my CLUTCH went out so I proceeded to carefully ride into your service area with my '04 Road King and stopped the bike by (gently) hitting the wall of the building and going over (fortunately no damage to myself or the bike)."Mikey" and another associate immediately came to my aid and had someone inspect and FIX the problem that same morning. I cannot tell you how relieved, delighted, and thankful I was for the help. "5/23/2007- I rented a 2006 Classic on the weekend of the 19th of May. This bike was very nice and I have to say Bud took care of me all the way. I had reserved a bike a month before or so I thought and when I called days before to double check on my rental Bud told me that he couldn't find my reservation in the system. He immediately went to work to make sure I was on a bike just days before my planned road trip. This trip is an annual trip my brother and I take and thanks to Bud we were able to make the trip without delays. The Classic I rented handled like a dream. "

"4/29/2007- I started thinking about buying a HD a couple of years ago and finally got to the point with the help of coming into some $. The first dealer I visted was the one on Layton and felt nothing but pressure -didn't feel very friendly - THEN I went to HAL's wow what a difference. Friendly, understanding sold me what I wanted - for a returning motorcycle rider - after about 15 years or so. Didn't want a big bike like the Layton store told me. I just wanted to start smaller and see if I would like the return to motorcycles at age 57. I am not dissapointed and am looking forward to joining the local chapter and becoming part of the HD family"
